Where to Find Photo Booths Around Kojimachi, Yotsuya and Nagatacho [Office District Served by Tokyo Metro and JR]

The Kojimachi, Yotsuya and Nagatacho area

Kojimachi, Yotsuya and Nagatacho are home to government offices and several high-rise buildings.
In this guide, we've put together the locations of ID photo booths in this area!

A studio that takes same-day bookings

Photo booths vary a lot from machine to machine. Older models may have weak lighting that leaves your face looking dark, and some can't give you your photo as digital data. If you want consistently high-quality ID photos, we recommend having them taken at a studio.
19Studio in Shinjuku accepts same-day bookings. It also offers an optional suit-compositing service (a suit is digitally added to your photo), which is ideal if you're short on time!

Few photo booths around Kojimachi Station

Kojimachi is not a large station, so it has relatively few photo booths.
The next station, Hanzomon, is close by, so it's also worth using the booths there.

Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line: Kojimachi Station

This booth is just outside the Kojimachi-side ticket gate, between a vending machine and a public phone. It's right next to the restrooms, so it's a good choice if you'd like to check your appearance before having your photo taken.

Plenty of booths around Yotsuya Station

Yotsuya Station is served by both JR and Tokyo Metro, and there is a university nearby, so you'll find many photo booths here.

JR Yotsuya Station

JR Yotsuya Station has photo booths in two places, one at the Kojimachi Exit and one at the Akasaka Exit, so you can choose whichever suits your route, such as when changing trains.

① Near the Kojimachi Exit ticket gate

It's along the wall of the NewDays convenience store, just outside the Kojimachi Exit ticket gate at JR Yotsuya Station. You can see it from the gate, so it's easy to find.

② Near the Akasaka Exit ticket gate

There is also a booth near the Akasaka Exit gate. Leave through the Akasaka Exit and turn left; it's just before the Tokyo Metro gates. It's right next to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, so it's handy if you want to take your photo while transferring.

Several photo booths around Nagatacho Station too

Nagatacho is an area with an especially large number of government offices. The station is a little complicated: the Hanzomon, Yurakucho and Namboku Line platforms are far apart from each other, and the station is connected to neighboring Akasaka-mitsuke Station by an underground passage.

If it's your first visit, we recommend checking the station map and the signs inside the station carefully.

Tokyo Metro Nagatacho Station

Four lines stop at Nagatacho Station, so many people pass through it when changing trains. The station is large and has a complex layout, so take care when moving around.

① Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line / Yurakucho Line transfer passage

This booth is inside the ticket gates, in the passage connecting the Hanzomon Line and the Yurakucho Line.

② Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line: Nagatacho–Akasaka-mitsuke passage

This one is also inside the ticket gates. It's in the passage leading from Nagatacho Station to Akasaka-mitsuke Station (for the Marunouchi and Ginza Lines).

③ Tokyo Metro Nagatacho Station: toward Exits 9a and 9b

This booth is inside the ticket gates, near the restrooms.
Exits 9a and 9b are close to the Namboku Line platform, so this booth is recommended if you're using the Namboku Line.

④ Tokyo Metro Nagatacho Station: near Exit 3

It's near Exit 3, which leads toward the National Diet Library. This booth is outside the ticket gates, so be careful if you plan to use it while changing trains.
