You can also get an ID photo at Utsunomiya Chuo Post Office, about a 10-minute walk from Tobu Utsunomiya Station.
These days most companies accept job application forms (called "entry sheets" or ES) online, but some still ask for paper copies. When sending documents by mail, pay attention to the deadline wording, such as 消印有効 (the postmark date counts) or 必着 (must arrive by the deadline).
This post office has a Yuyu counter, a service window that stays open outside regular hours, so you can send mail even on holidays. It is open 8:00–21:00 on weekdays and 9:00–18:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
